Προειδοποιεί για επεισόδια στην Αθήνα η π ρεσβεία των ΗΠΑ!
Μια περίεργη ανακοίνωση εξέδωσε η αμερικανική πρεσβεία στην Αθήνα για τους υπηκόους των ΗΠΑ που βρίσκονται στην πρωτεύουσα.
Η ανακοίνωση κάνει λόγο για ενδεχόμενα επεισόδια που μπορεί να προκληθούν από ομάδες αντιεξουσιαστών και γι’ αυτό καλό θα ήταν να απομακρυνθούν από το κέντρο της πόλης.Στο κείμενο μάλιστα γίνεται συγκεκριμένη αναφορά στο Μοναστηράκι και τη γύρω περιοχή ενώ πιθανή εστία «φωτιάς» θεωρείται η εκδήλωση της αναρχικής συλλογικότητας -όπως αναφέρεται- «Κύκλος της φωτιάς».
Από την ελληνική αστυνομία πάντως δεν είχε εκδοθεί η παραμικρή ανακοίνωση, γεγονός που εύλογα σε κάνει να αναρωτηθείς αν οι Αμερικανοί ήξεραν «κάτι» παραπάνω…

Potentially violent demonstration in Athens

Athens, Greece
An anarchist collective called “Cycle of Fire,” and other
anti-authoritarians, plan to demonstrate in Monastiraki Square around
12:00 noon on Saturday, February 4, 2012. This will be followed by a
march to the Parliament at Syntagma Square. Please keep in mind that
Monastiraki Square is “Tourism Central” here in Athens. In addition, it
is an area criss-crossed by pedestrian streets that has few wide routes
from which to exit quickly, should a large crowd gather.
The U.S. Embassy advises U.S. Citizens to avoid the Monastiraki and
Syntagma Square areas between 1200 – 1800 hours on Saturday, February 4,
2012. This includes the area around Mitropoleos Street, the main route
between Monastiraki and Syntagma.
Remember, even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn
confrontational and possibly escalate into violence without warning.
Avoid areas of demonstrations and, if you are within the vicinity of any
demonstrations, remain vigilant and exercise caution.
